Located in the picturesque fishing port of Whitby, North Yorkshire, we have been manufacturing beds for 18 years, in our factory located within the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the setting for many internationally popular television series.  There, we have a staff of highly skilled joiners and seamstresses manufacturing high quality beds and mattresses, most of which are to our own design and specification and therefore unique.

Each mattress and base is made by hand and therefore various sizes and shapes, including circular and outsize beds, can be constructed.

We are also manufacturers of electronically adjustable beds and massage beds, importing German components of the highest quality to make up the base and motor parts of the bed.

Because we use fillings of cotton felt, lambs wool, cashmere and curled hair in any combination the customer requires, our mattresses are difficult to construct as they do not lend themselves easily to mass production. 

Previously sold exclusively through our Whitby and Scarborough stores, the traditional handmade manufacturing methods have seen beds delivered throughout the UK and exported as far as Argentina, the Falklands and Romania.

We have an extensive showroom at The Old Mill, Stakesby Vale in Whitby.  The Old Mill is a former 18th century sail making factory with many of the original features retained inside.  We also deliver free within 75 miles of Whitby and on a carriage-cost basis further afield.

We are members of the National Bed Federation, which advocates high standards of workmanship and service throughout UK manufacturing.
